I need to remember what I'd read -- which holiday it was where the rich families would give out wafer/waffle cookies with their family crests on them. We watched a video on how to make [stroopwafels](#stroopwafels) and it's just a pizzelle caramel sandwich -- which then meant I found out about [krumkake](#krumkakes), a Norwegian (or Norwegian-American?) version of [pizzelle](#pizzelle).
